Canadian Theatrical Premiere of Living Downstream at the Bloor Cinema, Toronto, Ontario
The Canadian Premiere of Living Downstream will be on Tuesday May 18, 2010 at 7:30 PM at the Bloor Cinema in Toronto!
Based on the acclaimed book by ecologist and cancer survivor Sandra Steingraber, Ph.D., Living Downstream is an eloquent and cinematic feature-length documentary following Sandra during one pivotal year as she works to break the silence about cancer and its environmental links.
This event will include the film screening, a Q + A session with filmmaker Chanda Chevannes and author Sandra Steingraber, and a book signing of the newly released second edition, hosted by Book City.
Please note that only cash, Visa, or Master Card will be accepted for book purchases.
This screening is a special co-presentation by Planet in Focus International Film & Video Festival and Women's Healthy Environments Network.
*NOTE: Tickets purchased online using the "will call" option will be held at the Bloor Cinema, and can be collected one hour before the screening. Tickets will be sold online until the end of the day on May 17.
After this time, tickets will still be available for purchase in-person at all Book City Locations (www.bookcity.ca). The Bloor Cinema box office will also sell any remaining tickets 1 hour before the screening.
