Lucas Brunelle travels the globe documenting alleycat races and every year he presents a new film at the BFF. This year for our tenth anniversary Lucas teams up with Benny Zenga to produce a film that takes it to new heights. Lucas is the undisputed master of documenting alleycats. From the vantage point of his custom helmet-cam, his footage serves as a rare document, insight into the best urban riders in the world in their natural element. Now Benny Zenga turns the camera back on Lucas Brunelle to bring a new dimension to this rare talent and 'international man of mystery'.

INSIDE KENK
Canada 2010 | HD 8 min.

An inside look at Igor Kenk, "the world's most prolific bicycle thief", according to The New York Times. In summer 2008, Kenk was arrested and nearly 3,000 bicycles were seized in one of the biggest news stories of the year. Built from more than 30 hours of never-before-seen intimate footage taken over the year leading right up to his arrest, KENK: A Graphic Portrait is a ground-breaking 304-page journalistic comic book that profiles one of cycling's most notorious villains.

THE BIRTH OF BIG AIR
USA 2010 | HD 54 min.
Dir. Jeff Tremaine
It's about time Mat Hoffman's story was told -- and now it has been done by just the right people. Directed by longtime friend Jeff Tremaine and produced by Priya Swaminathan, Spike Jonze, Mark Lewman and Johnny Knoxville, the film pays tribute to this BMX legend. It includes interviews with supporters and fans, like Evel Knievel. Mat Hoffman inspires. This film shows us the sacrifice it takes to be one of the greatest athletes in the world.
